Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, today met with His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at Gudaibiya Palace.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted the longstanding and strategic partnership between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, emphasizing that the bond is deeply rooted in shared history, cooperation, and mutual respect.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad underscored that bilateral relations continue to thrive under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, reflecting both kingdoms’ joint commitment to regional stability and prosperity.
His Royal Highness expressed appreciation for the continued support of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, whose vision and leadership have significantly contributed to advancing joint initiatives and projects under the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council.
Prince Salman commended the Council’s pivotal role in strengthening multisectoral collaboration, particularly in the economic field, which he said opens new avenues for sustainable growth and investment between the two Kingdoms.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan conveyed the greetings of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to HRH Prince Salman, wishing Bahrain continued progress and prosperity. In return, HRH Prince Salman extended his greetings and best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Saudi Crown Prince, praising their efforts in promoting Gulf unity and regional development.
The two sides also discussed the latest regional and international developments and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, reaffirming their shared commitment to peace, stability, and Arab and Islamic solidarity.
HRH Prince Salman praised Saudi Arabia’s vital role under King Salman’s leadership in enhancing regional cooperation, promoting security, and defending Arab and Islamic interests.
HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court; HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa; and HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, along with several senior officials, attended the meeting.
