MANAMA: Bahrain is set to make a major splash on the regional property scene later this month as it prepares to unveil a US $1 billion portfolio of sustainable real-estate developments at Cityscape Bahrain 2025, underscoring the Kingdom’s ambition to position itself as a regional leader in green and integrated urban living.

The showcase, led by Bahrain-based developer Infracorp, will take place from November 25 to 29 at Exhibition World Bahrain, under the patronage of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

Four Landmark Projects Redefining Urban Living

Infracorp’s portfolio features four flagship developments, each combining luxury design with sustainable infrastructure and community-oriented planning. Tilal Al Areen a next-generation residential community nestled within natural landscapes near Al Areen, designed to harmonise with Bahrain’s desert environment.

Marina Bay, Reef Island: an upscale waterfront enclave in the capital, offering villas and penthouses with panoramic views of Manama’s skyline.

Meliá Beachfront, Amwaj Islands: a lifestyle development blending branded residences with hospitality spaces managed by global hotel group Meliá.

Bahrain Harbour: a mixed-use waterfront district in the heart of the financial area, envisioned as a new hub for business, retail, and leisure.

Together, the projects form a $1 billion investment pipeline representing one of Bahrain’s largest coordinated pushes into sustainable, high-value urban growth.

    ‘Balanced Development’ at the Core

Majed Al Khan, CEO of Infracorp, said the company’s approach reflects a long-term vision for “balanced development where economic viability meets environmental stewardship.

He noted that the new portfolio aligns closely with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030, which prioritises sustainability, innovation, and diversification beyond oil.

Our developments are built around the principles of environmental design, renewable integration, and social value, Al Khan said. They will not only reshape Bahrain’s real-estate landscape but also serve as a regional benchmark for sustainable investment.

    Expanding Lifestyle and Tourism Frontiers

Beyond housing and infrastructure, Infracorp will leverage its hospitality-and-lifestyle subsidiary, HARVE, to launch new dining, wellness, and leisure concepts within its projects. The move aims to turn these communities into fully integrated lifestyle destinations, advancing Bahrain’s goal of becoming both a tourism hub and an investment magnet.

As part of its wider diversification strategy, Bahrain continues to court foreign direct investment in its real-estate and hospitality sectors, which are increasingly viewed as growth engines for the post-oil economy.

Cityscape Bahrain 2025: The Stage for Transformation

Returning under the theme “Elevate Your Lifestyle”, Cityscape Bahrain 2025 is expected to attract over 12,000 visitors, including global investors, institutional backers, and leading developers.

Analysts say Bahrain’s commitment to sustainability, coupled with its investor-friendly policies and growing infrastructure network, places it in a strong position to capture regional attention amid intensifying competition in the Gulf’s property markets.

A New Chapter in GCC Urban Innovation

With its bold mix of eco-driven architecture, hospitality integration, and long-term economic planning, Bahrain’s $1 billion real-estate portfolio signals a new chapter for the Kingdom’s urban identity one that seeks to balance prosperity with preservation.

Bahrain isn’t just building properties, Al Khan said. “It’s building the future of sustainable living in the Gulf.”
